Our Approach To Personal Data
IIAF Jobs is intended to connect job seekers, IIAF member industries, educational institutions and professional service providers. Personal data is collected only for identified portal purposes and should be processed in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and applicable rules.
Data We May Collect
Depending on how you use the portal, this may include your name, contact details, login information, resume, education, employment history, skills, job applications, member or company information, service requirements, complaints or suggestions, and records of your interactions with the portal.
Why We Use It
We may use personal data to create and operate accounts, enable job applications and recruitment workflows, connect candidates with relevant employers, process member submissions, provide requested services, communicate transactional updates, maintain security, resolve grievances and meet legal obligations. Optional promotional communication should be based on a separate choice where required.
Sharing
Candidate information may be made available to relevant employers or authorised recruitment participants when necessary for the recruitment process. Member submissions may be reviewed by authorised IIAF administrators. Technology providers may process data only to operate and secure the platform under appropriate arrangements. Personal data should not be sold as a standalone data product.
Your Choices And Rights
Users should be able to access applicable notices, correct or update their information, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, raise a grievance and exercise other rights available under applicable law. Withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully undertaken and some data may still need to be retained where law or an ongoing transaction requires it.
Security And Retention
Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards should be maintained. Personal data should be retained only for the period necessary for the stated purpose or as required by law, after which it should be securely deleted or anonymised as appropriate.
